You Can Be Instrumental in the Success of the MacArthur Band!

​We are fortunate that Texas continues to support education in the fine arts, however, in today's economy state funding and the school district budget simply do not meet the needs of an accomplished band and guard program. This is where YOU can make a difference. The MacArthur Band Boosters offer numerous volunteer opportunities and seek donations throughout the year. Concessions

Hot Dogs & Nachos & Popcorn, oh my!​

The Irving Band Parents Association (IBPA) is an affiliation of the band boosters organizations from all competing high schools within the Irving ISD (MacArthur, Irving and Nimitz).  Collectively, we operate the concession stands at the Irving School Stadium (ISS) -- all year long! ​

This is the single-most profit-earning fundraiser for the MacArthur Band Boosters.  Log onto [​Charms​] to view the Event Calendar, determine which dates you are available to volunteer, and click on the [Helping Hand] icon to signup.

         Volunteer - Just Duet!

 

V​olunteering is for everyone!  ... Parents, family, friends and neighbors can support our award-winning band and colorguard programs.  Parents and students may log onto [Charms] and click the [Volunteer Needs] tab or the [Helping Hand] icon on the Event Calendar for opportunities to sign-up and connect with other supporters of the MacArthur Band. Every time you volunteer on behalf of your band student, you're earning points towards their finance account and annual Band Trip.

Donate to a Noteworthy Cause​

P​eriodically, we will solicit donations of specific items needed for a practice, performance, or for a social or fundraising event. Donations can be anything from sodas and chips for a Mac Band party, finger-snacks for a Bake Sale, soap and towels for a Car Wash, or gift cards, services and merchandise for our infamous "Not-So-Silent" Auction. Monetary contributions are also welcomed and appreciated. Click the [PayPal] link below to make a secure online donation.​

The MacArthur High School Band Boosters is a federal tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations (whether financial, product-based or service-oriented) are tax deductible*, and a receipt will be provided upon request. ​

Water Bottle Donations

I​t is of utmost importance that our band students keep hydrated. Please consider donating a case or two of water bottles each month to maintain a full stock in the Band Hall and ensure that we have enough for each student at outdoor practices and

performances.
